Biography

Mengyang Su joined SUTD as a Lecturer in the Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (HASS) Cluster in 2024. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Economics and Management from Renmin University of China, followed by an MA in Applied Economics from Georgetown University. In 2024, she obtained her Ph.D. in Economics from National University of Singapore. Her research primarily explores competition and pricing strategies in digital markets, with a particular focus on the role of data in the digital economy. Broadly, her interests lie in the fields of digital economy, industrial organization, and applied microeconomic theory. Besides her academic achievements, Mengyang also has work experience at TikTok and the consulting industry.
